In 1831, an artificial hill was erected here, made of the bones of the victims of the cholera epidemic raging in the area at that time, sprinkled with lime.
In 1884, a new neo-Gothic chapel was erected. Inside the chapel there is a painting of St. Roch from the mid-nineteenth century, where the relics of the saint are placed.
Every year on August 16, on St. Roch, a church fair is held here.
