The pastoral path runs through the municipality of La Losa and reaches the junction of the Las Víboras stream. This place has a car park nearby and is another common point to carry out the itinerary of La Mujer Muerta on the Segovian slope. The lane passes through the ford of the stream and a fork appears with red milestones from the Official Network of Itineraries of the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park indicating the layout of the GR-88 long-distance path. The milestones of the Cañada Real Soriana Occidental Nature Trail continue to the right towards El Espinar. The trail continues to the left and leaves the cattle track through a revolving gate at the entrance to Rancho de la Becea. The path continues straight as a Scots pine up to the cattle sheds and turns left towards Lomas de la Mujer Muerta. The two paths come together later but the milestones of the GR-88 go to the left and there is less distance. The forest track enters the pine forests and continues to rise until it connects with the other path at a curve in the forest. The next section is a mountain forest track for several kilometers at the foot of the Milanillos river valley. The ravines that go down the slope of La Mujer Muerta usually carry water and are essential to cool off in summer before climbing to the peaks.
