The first mention of the church in Jarantowice dates back to the 17th century
As a result of wars and the plague, the village was depopulated and the church fell into ruin - there is no trace of it today.
In 1785, Dutch settlers arrived here and established an Evangelical community. In the place of the old church, they built an Evangelical church, which, after many years, again as a Catholic temple, restored in 2006, is now the pride of the village of Jarantowice.
