The daylily field near Rehling, near the district of St. Stephan, is an important natural monument in Bavaria. With an area of around 50 x 50 meters, it is considered the largest of its kind in Europe. 
Location and significance
Located in the Lech meadows, the daylily field borders directly on the edge of the floodplain forest of the Lech. This region represents a rare, primeval Central European landscape. The meadow, which blooms in June, attracts numerous nature lovers every year who want to admire the golden yellow flowers of the yellow daylily (Hemerocallis lilioasphodelus).
