Circus Circus Las Vegas is a circus-themed hotel and casino located on the northern end of the Strip. Opened in 1968, it is one of the oldest casino resorts in Las Vegas, featuring a large casino floor, diverse dining options, and a permanent circus show with trapeze artists and clowns. The property also includes the Adventuredome indoor amusement park with roller coasters and other rides. Despite its historical significance and family-friendly attractions, Circus Circus has developed a reputation as somewhat seedy and rundown compared to more modern, upscale resorts on the Strip.

There is an RV parking lot for around 400 vehicles, which we used at a reasonable price back then. A separate monorail was built to connect the individual hotel buildings, but it is no longer in service. In 1971, several scenes from the James Bond classic "Diamonds Are Forever" were filmed here. The hotel is part of the MGM Resorts International group.
Of the large, world-famous hotels in Las Vegas, the "Circus Circus" is the most affordable.

In the famous film "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," the Circus Circus Casino & Hotel was dubbed the "Bazooko Circus," where performances featuring flying dogs and humans are shown.
