The town of Valpuesta, in the province of Burgos, is located within the Montes Obarenes-San Zadornil Natural Park. Valpuesta has an important architectural heritage, which includes the beautiful collegiate church of Santa María, the Constables tower and the Zaldivar palace. In addition, the town houses old manuscripts that are considered the first written in Spanish.
