The Jewish cemetery in Schmieheim was the largest association cemetery in southern Baden. It was established in 1682. Today, 2,491 gravestones remain. The oldest gravestone dates from 1701, and the last burial took place in 1941.
The cemetery features a war memorial, restored in 1998, for the Jewish fallen of the First World War.
