The Triefentein Monastery has existed since 1102. The property was occupied by Augustinian canons until 1803, who always practiced choral prayers and fulfilled their duties as parish priests. Since 1986, the building has been the headquarters of the Christ Bearer Brothers, who live there, pray and continue to care for the grounds.
