The church was built on a plot of land received from the owner of the Dubin estate – Klimański in 1872 on the site of an old one, built in the 18th century, which was moved to Rogacze[1]. The cornerstone was laid on August 15, 1867, and the church was consecrated on November 23, 1872. The iconostasis made of oak wood was funded by parish priest Parteniusz Bazylewski. In 1900, the church was fenced with a stone fence. After World War II, the church was richly equipped with icon frames by local artist Michał Ochrymiuk.
