Morbid charm of a bygone era. The fence is patchy and can easily be negotiated by bike. Driving on is only possible to a very limited extent. The track is overgrown and partly slippery (and very steep in the curves). Beware of the old grandstand on the back straight. There is glass and garbage there.

Forgotten, the facility has been rotting away for years. It's a shame no one has taken ownership of this historic facility dating back to 1934. The Schanzenberg has the potential to become a fantastic cycling center.
In any case, the trails around the Schanzenberg are a delight for bikers.

The entrance is currently closed. The former tenant is insolvent and the future of the exhibition grounds and the ski jump has apparently not yet been decided.
