Komoot suggests this segment is an asphalt road. It was once but most of it has crumbled away and I'd describe it more like a gravel road and not suitable for a road bike. Nice route and virtually traffic free.

The road is mostly complete rubbish. It's doable with a gravel bike, but be prepared for a very bumpy ride. Even downhill you can usually only go at 10-15 km/h. But there's no traffic at all and the views are very beautiful.
