This tower was built in 1958 for the purpose of spotting wildfires. It is now rentable for overnight stays from the U.S. Forest Service for $55 per night. Amenities are limited and visitors are encouraged to bring their own drinking water. There are good views of the Kootenai River and the surrounding mountains.
