The Brough of Deerness is a spectacular low and wide grassy sea stack.

A staircase runs down the cliff to the shore. A scramble over a slope brings you into the nicely sheltered rocky cove next to the Brough of Deerness.

The path to the top of the Brough of Deerness is currently closed (as of March 2023) due to a landslip. Plans to reinstate a route have been made.
