The port in Mrzeżyno has been expanded and completely modernized
Mrzeżyno seaport - a seaport on the Baltic Sea, at the mouth of the Rega River, in the province of West Pomeranian, in the commune of Trzebiatów. It is a marina for 40 yachts, a small sea fishing base with a repair basin and a workshop.

The port in Mrzeżyno serves as a sea border crossing, which includes cargo traffic by fishing vessels of Polish nationality. Border and customs clearance is carried out by the Border Guard Post in Świnoujście[1]. The boats of local fishermen sail with the MRZ mark on the side.

The seaport of Mrzeżyno is located on the southern coast of the Baltic Sea, at the mouth of the Rega River to the Pomeranian Bay. It is located on the Trzebiatowskie Coast - a mesoregion of the Szczecinskie Coast. It is situated 18 km (10 nautical miles) from Kołobrzeg, ≈39 km (21 NM) from Dziwnów, ≈7 km (3.7 NM) from Dźwirzyno. Mrzeżyno is located between the lighthouse in Niechorze and the lighthouse in Kołobrzeg - the port has navigation ponds on the heads of the entrance breakwaters.

The boundaries of the port are defined by the Regulation of the Minister of Transport and Maritime Economy of 2001[2]. The border on the Rega River between inland surface waters and sea waters is marked by a line running along the northern edge of the road bridge in Mrzeżyno[3].

The land area of the port is 11.7533 ha, which belongs to the commune of Trzebiatów and the State Treasury[4]. The aquarium located within the administrative boundaries of the port has an area of 6.55 ha[5][6].

Within a radius of 500 m towards the sea from the head of the eastern breakwater of the port entrance, a permanent protection perimeter for sea fishing has been established[7][8
