The Musée des Cultures Contemporaines Adama TOUNGARA (MuCAT) is the biggest contemporary art museum of West Africa, third largest in Africa, according to the director.

Inaugurated in March 2020 with a first exhibition Lend me your dream, the MuCAT is an independent private non-profit museum, located in the town of Abobo in Abidjan. Built on an area of 3500 m², it is the first museum entirely dedicated to contemporary art in Côte d'Ivoire.

The MuCAT aims to be both a reflection for African and international creation but also a mirror of creativity for Ivorians.
