The nuclear power plant Mülheim-Kärlich (abbreviation: KMK) on the left bank of the Rhine northwest of Koblenz was the only nuclear power plant in Rhineland-Palatinate. On March 1, 1986, it was put into operation. Because of a faulty planning permission process, it had to go back from the grid 30 months after the Erstkritikalität on 9 September 1988. The fourth generation PWR had a gross electrical output of 1,302 megawatts.

The cooling tower is not beautiful, but impressive. Who wants to see him, I have to hurry, the thing is demolished.
