Hiking
It is the first town you find in the direction of Galicia from Villafranca del Bierzo. Although the passage through Pereje is optional, its pilgrim influence is felt in the church of Santa María Magdalena, the Pilgrims hospital and the old prison. If you ever get the chance to visit, you will enjoy its rich history and beauty. 🚶♂️🌟

Hiking
A picturesque village with many old houses. A pleasure to walk through these old, partly sleepy villages.

Hiking
The camino goes through a few of these quiet old villages along this stretch, and it is a relief to get away from mostly walking alongside the old highway
