Fabio Filzi was also hanged there, on the same day as Cesare Battisti.
Battisti was hanged twice: the first time the rope broke. The executioner probably did it on purpose, I don't know why, perhaps to make him suffer more.
They were military at the time. As military personnel they should have been shot but they were not granted "the honor".
