Here you enter the Drawa National Park.
Most of the area of the Drawieński National Park is occupied by forests (pine forests predominate, but beech, alder and birch forests are also present). They are intersected by rivers - the largest of them are Drawa and Płociczna. The landscape is also diversified by numerous lakes of various geological origins. A hydrological unique is the protected Black Lake with crystal clear water, located in the central part of the Park.
The most valuable plant in the Park is the linden orchid, which can be found on one of the peat bogs. The stands of marsh violet and peat bog plants are also valuable. Another characteristic plant is marsh helleborine.
The characteristic fauna of the Park are mainly rare species of fish and amphibians, e.g. tree frog. The area of the Park also abounds in birds - more than half of the species found in Poland can be found here. The heraldic animal of the Drawieński National Park, the otter, is common but difficult to see. For several years, the area of the Park has been visited by a pack of wolves.
In the Park you can move only on designated trails (walking, cycling, horse riding - all year round)
Two rivers are available for water tourism: the Drawa and the Korytnica section (from July 1 to March 15)
