Just a short journey off of the main Bald Mountain Trail is Gibson Cave, which holds a bit of history. The cave was originally used by Native Americans for thousands of years, but during the Great Depression, a man by the name of Gibson resided here (hence the name). Now, you will mainly only see the remnants of graffiti.
