Sheridan Lake was formed by the gradual melting of Sheridan Glacier, and the lake then drains into the Sheridan River. The lake is expanding over time as the glacier continues to melt. Spending time here to enjoy the lake before heading back makes for a rewarding end to a relatively short ride.
