Built starting from 1922, the new neoclassical sacred building was designed by Luigi Candiani. Built starting in 1922, the new neoclassical style sacred building was designed by Luigi Candiani. Solemnly blessed on 30 July 1926, when still not completed, it was consecrated by the bishop of Ceneda, His Excellency Mons. Eugenio Beccegato, only one year later, on the eve of the feast of the patron saint, 28 September 1927.

The church, equipped at the front with a tetrastyle pronaos, consists of a circular hall, with four side chapels and a raised rectangular presbytery. The large dome, the main innovation compared to the construction of 1823, considered a work of high engineering level, was restored in 2009-2010. On its top stands the Custozza stone statue of San Michele Arcangelo, created in 1925 by the sculptor Vittorio Celotti.

Inside, in addition to the paintings created by Carlo Donati in 1927 on the dome and on the tambour, there are the Saint Michael the Archangel fighting against Satan, oil on canvas by Gino Borsato, and the Adoration of the Shepherds, an anonymous painting donated at the end of the First World War by Don Adriano Buosi, restored in 1996 and recently attributed to the late sixteenth-century painter El Greco.
