The road was repaired in September 2022 with new asphalt and gravel shoulders.

Before that, the asphalt surface was heavily damaged, making it impossible to drive at normal speed.

The road is an alternative connection between Sanok and Lesko, bypassing the very busy DK84 route, which jams in the Zagórz area on summer weekends due to traffic lights at the intersection.

When riding a bike, it is definitely worth leaving DK84 and choosing the route through Załuż and Sobień. In addition to less car traffic, this alternative road is less physically demanding, because it runs mainly along the San River, and not through successive hills like DK84.
