The church was built in the first half of the 19th century. 15th century as a stone, towerless temple on a rectangular plan. Half a century later, a tower was added on the basis of the only nave, located on the west side. The tower was covered with a slender helmet, still clearly visible from the vicinity of Łęczyca. At the eastern wall there is a burial crypt belonging to the owners of the village estates, Bernet von Mildenitz and his wife. The equipment of the church included a pulpit altar, which included the figures of Mary with the child, St. John the Baptist, the Apostles and a crucifix. Only the figure of Moses (1.69 m) has survived to this day, which served as the base of the pulpit's basket. The church also has a tombstone made of limestone (2.25 x 1.16 m), which covered the entrance to the crypt of the aforementioned von Mildenitz.
