Great track - although in heavy rain the ruts can be a challenge

The route is quite difficult, the paths are sometimes narrow and very rutted, so you need to be prepared for ticks. Generally, this is not a level for a quiet trip with children... . But the views are very nice. Good preparation and awareness of what it is like there are essential. It is worth adding that the route further on is even worse, marked on the map as the section "path over the cliff (or cliff there). There you sometimes have to walk the bike or go through the bushes."

The Zawadowskie Islands nature reserve, established in 1998, is located in the south of Warsaw and in the Konstancin-Jeziorna commune. It covers an area of 530.28 ha and includes islands, shallows and the waters of the Vistula River. The purpose of its establishment is to protect aquatic ecosystems and the habitats of rare species of birds and other animals associated with the aquatic environment. The vegetation in the reserve is mainly riparian forests with dominant willows and poplars and wolves with goldenrod. This area is also an important nesting site for birds such as gulls, terns, plovers and the common sandpiper. There are also beavers, otters and other mammals, as well as numerous species of amphibians and fish. Strict prohibitions apply within the reserve, including a ban on hunting, destroying vegetation, entering the reserve and pouring waste. In some cases, sustainable fishing, scientific research and cutting plants at specified times are permitted.
