Fron Bygdatun is a local heritage site assembled to recreate a historic husmannsbruk – a smallholder’s farm typical of the Fron area in earlier centuries.
The site includes several modest buildings, complete with a vintage sawmill powered by a sawmill wheel, giving visitors a sense of how such small farms functioned and what life might have felt like.
