Sound of Silence mudflat hike - through the mudflats in silence

The Solthörner Wadden Sea can be enjoyed on a very special mudflat hike - here you can take part in the Sound of Silence hike. At the meeting point at the Wattfuhrerhäuschen in Buttjadingen there is a short briefing, then everyone turns off their mobile phones and starts out into the mudflats.

Nobody speaks and so you can enjoy the special tranquility of the Wadden Sea. You quickly realize that there is no complete silence here. With your senses sharpened, you can clearly hear the sounds of the mud flats, the sea and its inhabitants. Back on land you can then exchange your personal impressions with the other hikers.
