The lake is small and has reeds growing along most of the sides, making it a bit challenging to reach the water. There is a small rocky headland on the southeastern side of the lake that you can reach using some small unmarked trails. This seems to be the only place where the reeds don't grow and is a good resting spot and would work for a swim as well. There is not really any flat ground there however.

On the northeastern side of the lake there is also a small fireplace and a few benches.
