Mountain biking
On April 17, 1945, a Royal Australian Air Force bomber was shot down in a dogfight nearby.
A plaque on the chapel and a wreath inside commemorate the deceased. It honors the courage and sacrifice of the bomber crews. Further the bravery and determination of the Air Force personnel in defending their homeland. Above all, however, the generosity of the population who helped the survivors of the crash.
