The Waldhügel nature reserve is the second most species-rich nature reserve in all of North Rhine-Westphalia. Over 900 different plant species, including 14 rare orchids and 14 beautifully blooming wild roses, grow here. A viewing tower offers an exceptional view over the quarry.
