The sculpture "Elisabeth: Compulsion - Escape - Freedom" by the Austrian sculptor Ulrike Truger is located near the Hermesvilla (intersection Hermesvillaweg, Rohrhausstrasse, Fahrstrasse) in the Lainzer Tiergarten in the 13th district of Vienna, Hietzing.
The inscription reads: "Elisabeth: Compulsion - Escape - Freedom" by Ulrike Truger (*1948). Carrara marble, weight 6.5 tons. This structure is the opposite of the common Sisi cliché. The three sides of the sculpture represent her personality, the fan for compulsion, the cloak for flight and the wing for freedom.
