High alpine ridge hike starting at the Glungezer hut at 2600 meters to the summit of Kreuzberg at 2746 meters the highest point of the tour. As is usual on a tightrope walk, there are many counter climbs up to the finish, so that it is good and better to negotiate almost 350 meters of altitude up to Kreuzspitze! The track is just under 3.5 km long, but far from a hiking trail. Some places are wire rope insured! Please only set out in good weather, because you have to expect 2 1/2 to 3 hours walking time to reach the summit. And from the top of the cross you have to go down again, I descended via the beautifully situated Blue lakes in the Seegrube (1 hour) and from there you can continue to the Meißner hut at 1707 meters (2 hours). Only march with full all-terrain equipment, good map and GPS. A head for heights and absolute sure-footedness as well as a good physical condition must be present!

In good weather, a very nice ridge tour with easy block climbing and normal walking terrain in between.
Difficulty T3 to T4 - little exposure. Some places secured with steel rope.

Super tightrope walk, mostly very wide. We expected a tightrope walk with a small width. Climbing can be done, but you should be free from vertigo and be in good shape. We walked from the Lizumer hut to the Glungezer hut, the landlord said to us that most people need 10 to 12 hours and we should prepare for a long day. Nice weather is also very important. We mastered the tour with many photo breaks (we were 90% alone) in 6 1/2 hours. It was a lot of fun, very varied and great view.
