June 2023: roads are in pristine conditions, and mostly empty of cars. Cars and trucks would move over to the far lane (left lane) when passing cyclists, which gives a great sense of safety on the road. It seems like drivers are very respectful of cyclists here.

This section is the back half of the Challenge Family Gunsan bike loop (full distance athletes ride the loop twice) that takes the athletes back to transition. A really fun, albeit very flat, section of road that is exposed to high winds as you are riding on the sea wall and bridge.
