Extending for a dozen kilometers, the Vendicari reserve is located between Noto and Marzamemi and is a true spectacle of nature. Here you can go birdwatching, snorkelling, hiking or take a dip in the sea from one of the many rocky beaches. Entering by bicycle is not prohibited by the official website of the reserve (riserva-vendicari.it), but it could be difficult: I recommend you tie it somewhere to enter the reserve peacefully.

No wheeled access, little shade, but great opportunities to spot flamingos and other birds. Bathing facilities available. From the rocks and bridges you can also watch fish, crabs, snails, hermit crabs and even shrimps - without having to go into the water. Entrance fee 3.50 euros (card payment only). In front of it there are 2 very nice, simple restaurants where you can sit in the shade and eat a granita, for example.
