The Cardanus forests are located in the middle of the neighborhoods of Doorwerth. Dogs are allowed to run free here, but you can also come across a deer. Before 1925, the Doorwertsche Bosch was located here, which belonged to Doorwerth castle. N.V. Exploitatie Maatschappij Cardanus developed Doorwerth, whereby fortunately some forest remained.
