Jeep tunnel

Quite a low tunnel with history (it's on a board on the south side) under the railway.

A very imaginative building that has recently been completely restored and has been discussed in many books. After the airborne landings of the English at Wolfheze, they had to take the long and hard-fought road to Oosterbeek and Arnhem. Soon, however, much ground was reclaimed by the Germans. All important railway crossings were monitored. The English found this tunnel and learned that if they rolled down the windows of their jeeps, removed the antennas and kept everything inboard, they could carefully drive through the tunnel.

Very special sensation. It is not indicated in advance that you have to go through this. It's fun.
