The modern bivouac is not staffed, but has an open space with 4 bed boxes. No mattresses! So if you want or have to spend the night, you better have a sleeping pad and sleeping bag with you.
I wouldn't risk it on weekends but during the week of May June or late in the year it's pretty g... nice up there.
