Plateau Point is a famous 3,789-foot cliff-elevation viewpoint in the Grand Canyon. Located about 3 miles northeast of the Grand Canyon Village and 2 miles north of Grandeur and Yavapai Points, it offers a stunning overlook from 1,600 feet above the Colorado River. Plateau Point is on the Tonto Platform and can be accessed via the Plateau Point Trail, which a spur trail off of the Tonto Trail. You can also access it from the Havasupai Gardens, off of the Bright Angel Trail. Regardless of how you get there, Plateau Point, you get sweeping views of the Colorado River, the Granite Gorge, and the intersecting canyons of Garden Creek and Pipe Creek.
