In the middle of the nature reserve Buschei are found the remnants of the international shooting range, which was used until the beginning of the 1990s by the British army stationed here (on the site of today's Hohenbuschei development area the Napier Barracks of the British) and until about 2001 by the German Armed Forces , Today, nature takes it back piece by piece.
