The Ágfalva Evangelical Church was built on May 13, 1784 at the place of the old forge in Agendorf, a municipality in the district of Sopron. On the site of the former entrance there is a memorial commemorating the expulsion of the Germans in 1946. The altar comes from the Kahlenberg Carthusian monastery. The pulpit, which is placed directly above the altar, is from the Spitalkirche in Vienna. The church originally had three bells, although the 1162 kg heroes' bell and the supplication bell from 1869 still stand today. The third bell was carried away on May 11, 1944. [wikipedia]

Hiking

The church, consecrated in September 1785, was built by three villages (Ágfalva, Bánfalva and Lépesfalva) based on the plans of the Sopron master builder György Trost. The 51-meter-high tower was built from 1869 to 1870.
