Hiking

Incredible effort was necessary to build this beautiful bathing house in Masada on the summit of a mountain. Really incredible. You can still see some old mosaics there and this ruin is in a good condition so you get a nice impression on how it used to be there. One of the few well preserved buildings in Masada. The roof is also accessible as a viewpoint.

It is fascinating to get a glimpse of the luxurious life of the time in such a palace. Building a bathhouse on a mountain in the middle of the desert is almost decadent.
