Very nice old and well maintained building

LENZKIRCH In the future, the Haslach town will present itself with one more attractive attraction. The historic buildings are presented to locals and guests alike on beautifully designed boards with a brief outline of their checkered history. The first of these information boards was handed over to Mayor Reinhard Feser by members of the Lenzkirch History Interest Group (IGLG) on Thursday. The plaque next to the entrance will provide information about the checkered past of the town hall.

        Beautiful town hall.

A little history of Lenzkirch: "In 1296, the Lenzkirch lordship was purchased by the Counts of Lupfen and Blumegg. Knight Konrad, the last of Blumegg's, died in 1313. In 1491, the Counts – later Princes – of Fürstenberg acquired the lordship and remained sovereigns until the establishment of the Confederation of the Rhine under Napoleon (July 12, 1806) and the creation of the Grand Duchy of Baden. The Princes of Fürstenberg, as a noble family, are still among the largest landowners in the region today."
