Newly built brewery Ninkasi (namesake is the Sumerian goddess of beer or alcohol). Founded in Lyon in 1997, the company currently has 20 production employees at its Tarare site (1 rue Edouard Herriot) with a tasting room, bar, restaurant and stage. In addition to beer, whiskey is also produced in the brewery. The production of gin and vodka is also planned. (ninkasi.fr/la-brasserie/la-fabrique-de-biere/). Since the capacities at the original brewery location in Lyon did not allow for any expansion and the water in Tarare is of much better quality and contains less lime, production has now been completely relocated to Tarare.

The viaduct (length: 330 m, height: 36 m) is a brick railway structure that crosses the municipality of Tarare in the Rhône department. It spans the River Turdine. Construction began in 1866 and was completed in 1868. The structure has 20 arches, one of which is wider than the others as it spans the 72 national road. To date, the route is not electrified.
