The little-known Castello di Cuntorba is hidden in the forest, directly behind a holiday resort.
Parking was a bit complicated as the street is very narrow.
Thankfully, a nice Corsican let us park our car on his property.
The subsequent walk to the Castello is child's play.
The Torrean Bronze Age castle is one of the four largest on the island, along with Cucuruzzu, Arraghju and Tappa.
Its architecture resembles that of a Sardinian nuraghi.
The view over the Gulf of Valinco is breathtaking.
