The estate in Battinsthal was acquired by Carl von Schuckmann in 1817 and remained in the family until 1945. The preserved manor was built around 1830. The manager's house standing next to it dates from 1900. After World War II, both buildings were nationalized and neglected. They were renovated in 2012 and can now be hired for various events. There are also guest rooms.
