Castel Fiorentino is an abandoned medieval village, located in the Torremaggiore area and founded by the Byzantines in the 10th century. On the top of the hill you can visit the remains of the cathedral of Sant'Angelo, the imperial palace, the walls and towers. Be careful because the uphill road is unpaved and difficult for road bikes.
