The Merville Battery is a fortification of the German army which was on the eastern flank of the Allied Landing on June 6, 1944. Bombed several times, without result, it was neutralized by the 9th Battalion of British Paratroopers. On an entirely preserved historic site, an educational route between the various blockhouses helps to discover the history of the Battery. batterie-merville.com
