The final stage which leads from Gambarie to Reggio Calabria excites with the rapidity with which the Mediterranean landscape changes: from mountain vegetation to marine vegetation in just 32 km of vertiginous and exciting descent that crosses the slopes of Monte Basilico and then goes down towards Reggio Calabria passing by the town of Ortì and the Monastery of the Visitation which offers an extraordinary panorama of Reggio and the Strait of Messina. Seen from here, Etna appears very close.
