Even for Hawaiian standards, Wainanaliʻi Pond is a very special place. This is where the dark lava stones meet the bright blue water and ensures the perfect picture. The reason for the blue color of the water here is the mixture of salt and fresh water. As an add-on, sea turtles love the spot as well, and it's a great spot to watch them (obviously from a safe distance!)
