Next to the old pilgrimage chapel is a lovely, shady resting place. An interesting place. The Chapel of St. Mary in Lichtenklingen was built by Count Palatine Rupprecht I in the second half of the 14th century. The chapel was first documented in 1387. The chapel also includes the "Lichtenklinger Hof," which can be read about in the Lindenfels Hall Register of 1613.
